We carry out a detailed and thorough analysis of each clients’ requirements to ensure we have a full understanding of their needs and objectives. We identify the responsibilities and deliverables for each role we are hiring for as well as an insight into our clients' industry sector, location(s), work environment, size and culture. We determine essential and desirable skills, we set expectations, and we agree on a timeframe and process for interviewing and onboarding consultants.
Our preference is to always work with Consultants we know, trust and have a working relationship. Occasionally, if none are available, we ask our network of consultants for referrals. We utilize various online tools and occasionally partner with other firms to ensure all our bases are covered.
An effective client interview is essential to a successful hire. We usually limit 3-4 client interviews per job to ensure clients save time by only focusing on the most suitable consultants. We arrange phone, conference, video or in person interviews. Afterward, we gain consultant and client feedback, identifying any areas of concern for either party.
We endeavor to facilitate a quick and seamless on-boarding process; extending an offer from the client to the consultant, exchanging contracts, agreeing terms and coordinating first day reporting.
A rigorous consultant screening program is essential to identifying the right talent, and to ensure we save our clients' time by only interviewing suitable consultants. We assess consultants previous performances with ROCKCREST, brief the consultant on the requirements and jointly determine their suitability for the role. We verify work history, certifications and where applicable we conduct a technical test. Lastly, we take up references from former employers and conduct background and drugs checks.
We offer continuous support throughout the assignment. We regularly check-in with the client and consultant to ensure expectations are being met and to answer any questions. We process a timely and accurate payroll for consultants and submit invoices to clients in accordance with their requested process. Near the time we confirm an end date with the client and consultant or extend the assignment as needed.
