Salesforce Administrator

  • Salesforce Administrator (Consultant) required for 6 month remote contract.

  • Responsible for the configuration, customization, maintenance, and overall management of a Salesforce environment within an organization.

  • Manage customer data, sales processes, and various other aspects of customer engagement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and manage user accounts and profiles.

  • Assign permissions and access levels to users based on their roles and responsibilities.

  • Customize Salesforce objects, fields, and page layouts to align with the organization's specific business processes.

  • Create and maintain custom objects and fields as required.

  • Configure validation rules, formulas, and workflow rules to automate business processes.

  • Import, export, and manage data in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

  • Define and enforce data quality standards and data validation rules.

  • Maintain data backup and recovery processes.

  • Create and customize reports and dashboards to provide insights into data and help users make informed decisions.

  • Schedule and automate report generation and distribution.

  • Implement and manage security settings, including role hierarchy, sharing rules, and field-level security.

  • Integrate Salesforce with other applications and systems to streamline data flow and improve efficiency.

  • Work with developers and integration specialists to set up and maintain these integrations.

  • Configure automation tools, such as process builder and workflow rules, to automate repetitive tasks and business processes.

  • Implement and manage approval processes.

  • Provide training and support to Salesforce users, helping them understand and utilize the system effectively.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues and provide ongoing assistance.

  • Plan and manage the deployment of new features and enhancements within the organization.

  • Monitor the performance and health of Salesforce.

  • Identify and resolve issues and optimize system performance.

  • Maintain documentation of the Salesforce configuration, processes, and user guides.

  • Ensure that best practices and changes are documented for reference.
