We're actively looking for an Azure Cloud Consultant with a broad range of technical skills for a long term contract with our client in the manufacturing sector:

Azure Core Services: Proficiency with Azure core services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database. Understanding of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Functions is also highly valued.

Cloud Architecture: Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including the design and implementation of cloud solutions that are secure, scalable, and resilient.

Networking and Security: Knowledge of Azure networking solutions like Azure Virtual Network, VPNs, Express Route, and Azure DNS. Expertise in implementing Azure security tools such as Azure Security Center, Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Azure Active Directory (AD).

DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies using Azure DevOps or other similar tools.

Automation: Skills in automating and orchestrating workloads using Azure Automation, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.

Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes, particularly using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Migration: Experience in planning and executing migration of workloads from on-premises or other clouds to Azure. Understanding of tools like Azure Migrate is often required.

Data Services: Knowledge of Azure data services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Cosmos DB.

Monitoring and Operations: Proficiency in monitoring Azure environments using tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Understanding of operational best practices in a cloud environment.

Certifications: While not essential, having relevant Azure certifications (such as Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert) is beneficial.
